For an unprecedented 4th year NZ Fashion Tech has been awarded the Prime Minister's Scholarship to Asia.

Our 3rd year students have now been given the opportunity to make a submission to apply for one of the 15 scholarships and we are pleased to annnounce those who have been selected for this amazing adventure!

Congratulations to: Aimee Hallen, Ana Te Whaiti, Samantha Gamman, Sian Roberts, Suzi Thompson, Bill Peniata, Catherine Saunders, Dominique Hopson, Jan Espino, Katie Flanagan, Kaylee Powell, Olivia Dunn, Rachel Hillier, Susan Colton and Youhan Khosho.

They will all be flying to India on a 6 week educational programme where they will see first hand where cotton is grown, how silk is made and experience the texile industry as a whole. Along with that they will experience the culture, traditions and lifestyle of the Coimbature region in southern India, hosted by the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology.
